Thanks for checking on me .....I am getting much better each week.
Should get released by surgeon to drive and return to work ( expect 3 half days per week). Have been working 2 days at home each week for past 2 weeks. Completed physical therapy last week--- should begin cardiac exercise and driving next week.
I am very very blessed and thankful...... Especially to all our friends who have supported and prayed for us over these past weeks.
Thanks again I will send some photos soon ...... Still old, a little thinner, but hanging in there!!!!
Will do. Still 3 months of chest healing which limits lifting climbing or golf or hunting. Maybe golf by next May!!!!

Good Morning Boys,
Dad is doing really well. He was pretty close to himself yesterday and we thought he was going to go home today but developed a little afib which will delay the trip home.
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers and win one for the gipper!

Bill called my brother today on his own his morning to get out on the patio and get some fresh air.
Still walking and doing his treatments getting stronger everyday.

We got him out on the patio today for a few minutes. He was able to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. Did some walking and tv watching. Beautiful weather and just taking it day by day.
Every day gets a little better. Thanks boys. Take care.

He had his first conversations this afternoon. From 5 am this morning to now he can now carry on full conversations.
I told him y'all are pulling for him and he gave me a thumbs up!
Today is the first normal day.

I thought that my Dad’s assistant had sent out an e-mail to this group a few days ago. Turns out it just went to Bill Howe. My apologies, it has been challenging time.
My father has had major surgery to repair his heart. He is doing exceptional given the circumstances. Please keep him in your hearts and prayers as he and our family recover.
I am sure that he would love to be there with you guys. Have a crown in his absence.
If nothing else maybe he can send some of this good weather your way for the tournament.
